Water flows in strict physical laws, but it changes into unpredictable geometrical forms after pouring it on to a flat surface. The same happens inside our brain, when we put rationality aside and let our thoughts go their way.We then get rewarded with pictures that look like surreal dream worlds, something you can’t find in the real world.
We see such dream worlds the moment we step in Aramis Navarro’s atelier. Wherever you look at you can see surreal figures and mythical creatures. In some of the paintings you’ll believe to see a human being, but after looking twice you’ll notice that you were just looking for usual things you can find in the real world. The figures appear the same way as the water spreads itself out on the flat surface.
